Now here's someone who's spent a long time redecorating in my head. I'm quite thoroughly surprised he didn't make it out first.

@MT - put the polydent away! ;þ

The latest blog entry goes over the identity clues i mentioned in the last strip's comments.

So now i'm curious, MT and RT, what clues did you use to make your guesses?
Jrade - please tell me your hair doesn't look like that!)

Edit: @MT - I forgot, you already said it was just a kneejerk guess. No clues required. I'm old - the brain drops things like that sometimes.

I protest. Who the heck is "me" anyhow? Hair shape? I thought
-3- spilled some ink on the page. But Hooray for Groucho, way ahead
of his time.

"me" was Jrade.
I work digitally - no ink to spill and ruin my pages any more! <insert chorus of angels here>
But - Hooray For Captain Spaulding! Sing it right!

And yes, yes he was.

EDIT: Oh, wait. Did you mean the comment left by "me"?
That was someone from outside CF. Only about half my readers come from CF, and anyone who wants to comment is in no way obligated to identify themselves if they don't wish to.
However, he/she was obviously a Groucho fan, listing two of his characters.

Clues, for 'me' (and me) were...sparse. Basically, I just thought that that degree of incredulity would need a truly incredible character - given that he's already met Roger Rabbit. I also thought that the 'lifetime of chocolate and ass-sitting' was a reference as to how TIM ended up...shaped how he is...in comparison to who I thought was 'past TIM', and thus much thinner.

Everybody knows Zeppo was the brains of the bunch.

Jrade - i have to admit, that makes a lot more sense than when i thought "me" was "you". ;)

Arden - Not everybody. My old gang postulated that each of them was a different brain. Zeppo the street brains, Harpo the intuitive brains, Gummo the business brains, and Groucho the razor brains.
(All of which stop working around the 'right' women)
