It's not like i had such a terrible time in high school. I mean, i started having sex then - that wasn't too terrible at all.
But DAMN some of those teachers were terminally boring. I used to love math until one teacher totally killed it for me and i never took another math class after. (But i did get the complete works of Edgar Rice Burroughs read during his classes that semester)
Much as i might enjoy the sex again, especially knowing all i know now, i just don't think i could survive sitting through some of those classes again.

This is starting to resemble a hippie version of Slaughterhouse 5

UGH 101 was my major.
In high school I used to have a copy of MAD inside my exercise book, teacher
thought I was reading my notes.

I get the feeling that we're about to launch into the realm of the horrifyingly depressing.

RT - what? I need to introduce two more characters?

MO - you'll see my major in the next strip. But Ugh was definitely a well studied subject.

JACK - yeah i guess maybe so. I forget how recent an experience school is for you. I graduated high school about 3 decades before you - and had a pretty good time of it. (It was the 70s, you know. The social pendulum was at the peak of its upswing before starting that long downswing we've been riding now. And no AIDS yet.)

Jack - i think RoboTwin might be able to challenge you for that title. But you are a fair bit younger than my sons, if that's any consolation.
